Radiator Question

Just installed a new (new to me) radiator in my 1.8

There are number of extra in and outs. Appears to be oil cooler? and maybe transmission cooler.

It is all metal, no plastic sides.

It also does not have a drain plug.

Has anyone else encountered this type of radiator? Would there be any value to having the oil and transmission in/out used? Should I get a drain plug in?

Thanks.

yeah its for the auto trans which apparently has a cooler of some kind.

I never used the extra ports, just looped a hose on them. And mine had a plug on the side of one of the endtanks that is in a really hard-to-get location. I doubt i'll ever use it. If i wanna drain it, i'll just unplug the bottom rad hose.

I hope you bought a metal radiator. I had to get one this past winter after my stock pos plastic one formed a crack due to the cold.
