WHen I start my car and take off in first gear, it jumps, as if it wants to stall, unless I give it lots of gas, but its not right. It just started doing it in second gear, and now it want to stall about 5 minutes after I start driving the car, It seems to be getting worse, and I think it might be a sensor, but I don't know which one. I am going to check the airfilter tonight, but I doubt thats it. Does anybody know?

If you have a stock factory air intake set-up, closely inspect the large black ribbed intake hose by removing it and flexing (meaning the hose, not your "guns" :o ) while searching for hairline cracks between the ribs. It's easy to miss one unless you completely remove the hose although some ppl try a shot of carb spray on the hose exterior which will change the idle if it contacts a crack in the hose. Any cracks, even small ones, can allow unmetered air to enter the air intake stream and can cause your symptoms. If crack(s) are found, a temporary wraparound with duct tape will hold ya til you can replace the hose. If this isn't the problem, you'll at least have ruled it out and it costs nothing to check. Sometimes hairline cracks in that hose will "flex" open momentarily when starting off or stopping the car. When this happens, the extra air allowed in has to be momentarily compensated for by giving extra throttle to increase the gas flow. It gets worse over time as the crack gets larger until the engine constantly stalls or won't run at all from the excess/unmetered air.

If it's a not a vacuum issue, like neutral described, I would guess something to do with timing. The notorious V6 distributor failure? I've experienced it 3 times, and each time there are different symptoms.

Have you tried pulling codes?
