Was just wondering if anyone knew of a brand that makes door poppers that’ll work in our cars. And if anyone had a part # or are they 1 size fits all?
Thanks guys

here's a trick for a cheap door popper
But you must already have power door locks on both doors. So you would have to disarm and unlock the doors for this to work.
just need
1. alarm or remote starter with AUX1 output (already installed)
2. one trunk popper for each door (about $15 each)
3. Relay for each trunk popper ($3 a peice)
4. inline fuse for each relay (about a 10amp, most people have em already)
Hook up like so:
man - with actuators, trunk poppers - you can do anything........enjoy

I know this post is from a little while ago, but to anyone reading...
I read this post and, being on a time constraint, went to find a trunk popper locally and couldn't find one anywhere. The only one I found had to be special ordered from the parts store and would have cost me over $100!!! So...I used my door lock actuator. Just took it off the lock and put it on the handle. Normally, the door lock actuator can't handle the pressure needed to release the door. You will need remove ALL of the mechanisms attached to the door release, leaving ONLY the release mechanism in place. Attach ONLY the actuator to the door release, and it will work great. Picked up another factory actuator from the junk for the other door. Total cost...$10.
So for anyone looking for info on door poppers, just thought I'd post my findings here...
