my car shakes and makes a loud noise inside the car

hey everyone, i have a problem with my mx-3. Its a 4cyl and its a 1.6l engine. Ok so when im driving its fine right, but when i stop at a traffice light the car just starts shaking along with the steering wheel. Also there like a echo inside the car so it quite disturbing. Does anyone know how to fix this problem

From experience that could be warped brake rotors, I had the same type of symptoms in my car. So when you are slowing down is it like a rhythmic pulseing? Does anything happen around turns or when accelerating? If its only when braking that would be my best guess.

no the car is fine while stopping, when the car is completely stopped it starts to shake and the steering wheel shakes and there is a loud echo inside of the car which is very irritating

adjust your idle speed, it's probably just your engine idleing to low.

OR trashed engine and/or tranny mounts. One of the two mounts on the ATX is known to rip fairly easily. check the engine/tranny mounts for rips/wear etc.
