Mx-3.com Drag Board

With Aaron new project comes the passing of a old one. Unless there is massive public objection i will resume maintenence of the top drag board with a few minor changes to try to let some people get a stake in.

These lists were compiled Using Aaron old drag boards and the responses to them. If you have a correction please send me a PM and if you have a addition please post it along with you list of modifications. Time-slips may be required. All Vehicles must be non-professional front drive Mazda designed. Times will not be posted unless they meet the above criteria

All I have to say Mr. Sick MX-6 is divide it in half, cuz my MX-3 WILL be the 2nd fastest only to Daves car come this summer (my R&D won't be finished untill tracks are long closed). Once my car is done I'm planning on taking the title as FASTEST MX-3 ever! Possibly burring it in the 9's for the 1/4 mile.

You got a point about track times. But lets put it like this....

call Derrick @ Corksport and ask him if I'm $h*ting you guys, cuz he's sold me the last COUPLE Thousand $$$ worth of equipment that I'm installing as of this moment. As far as the fastest track time, 13.3 @76MPH in the 1/8 mile...that didn't add up did it? Spun through 1st, POS wouldn't go into 2nd till I hit the brakes to slow back down. Then I spun alllll the way through 2nd, 3rd, and barked 4th on the finish line for that time. I was PISSSED about 2nd gear and didn't feel like paying $10 to run again. The 5.0 Mustang had a 1 sec head start and I STILL almost caught him!

Any way...you can ask Shady on the board, he's seen half the stuff including the new turbo

Another interesting tid bit on my car:

The engine was leaking oil at the head gasket and starting to get a little blow by at the rings

I have seen the turbo... we put the stock one up next to it and i almost cried. i think the in/outlets are like 3x bigger. Its a freak of nature. With all the things jeremy(jwmotorsports) is doing to his car it wont have a choice but to be fast as hell.
oh, and another note about his time: at the same track (1/8th mile) i went (with old b6t set-up) 10.6 @76 with a 3.1 60 ft. There is no traction to be had.
either way, if any of you guys in VA beach or maryland want to meet up early next season at a track you can see first hand what all jeremy and i have done.
maybe we can run em...
