I was wondering who is. I couldn't even make an 18 sec pass right now until some things get fixed. I was just wondering who the fastest is and what the 1/4 is or would be.

well i know im not theonly swapped mx-3 in texas but as of right now i have about a high 14 second 1/4 mile. soon to be dropping but for now its about a high 14. i have slips for the 1/8th but havent ran the 1/4 yet. best 1/8th was a 9.5. i would love to see some of the competition i have around here. i know im not the only swapped mx.

some facts you ZE swaps might like to hear about some of the new cars coming out.<P>Nissan 200sx (240sx over there)<BR>runs a low 15 1/4 mile stock<P>Subaru Impreza WRX, run a mid 15 over 1/4 mile.<P>Pretty pathetic time considering these cars are supposed to be for performance. It seems the weight of the wrx has gone up and the 200sx was probably tested by a crappy driver.<P>but the ZE drivers should be able to run level if not pull on these cars.<P>Also note if ya do a simple exhaust job on those cars they can get upto about 25hp extra.... so thats where they have been restricted heaps.<P>If its a Impreza WRX STI its will beat ya. <BR>if its a LANCER EVO 7 It will beat ya<BR>if its a RX7 it will beat ya <P>hehehe, <P>OH yah anyone have any mpegs of MX3's goin hard???

David:<P>emissions are killing off most new cars. The 240sx was discontinued in 2002 in Japan because the sr20det can no longer meet Japan's emmisions (yet it can meet the stricter ones of Australia) As for the WRX here we got a HEAVILY detuned version of what the japanese have. If it wasn't for the fact that Mitsubishi was bringing the 0-60 in 4.8 second, 280 hp, all mighty to god Lancer then the WRX would still be around the stock HP of....what? 210?<P>And aftermarket exhaust numbers on turbo cars are always good. By getting a full 3" system with an O2 eliminator some people get as much as 30 more HP.<P>Oh, and the WRX here in the US does far better than mid 15's.<P>1/4 mile Times (Stock, with no mods)<BR>Car and Driver Magazine test numbers<BR>0-60 5.8 seconds 1/4 mile 14.7 @ 93 mph<P>Road & Track Magazine test numbers<BR>0-60 5.7 seconds 1/4 mile 14.4 @ 95.4 mph

Haven't been to the track yet to see what this thing can do, however I am guessing 14's... Atleast I hope lol...
