last Sunday I went racing against a friend who owns a vw type 3 gti 2.0 liter 16v, which has 150 hp. he also has a dtm muffler and a cold air intake. My baby rides with a high flow cat and a racing muffler. The wheight differens between the 2 cars is about 40 kg. We made 3 runs and in all the runs my black baby was victorious!! You see, nothing can beat our mx-3´s!!<P><BR>

yea nothing can beat our MX-3's. My brother has a VW gti 2.0 l as well n i just bought my gs n we raced. i kicked his a--.

I ride with Pony's and a VR6 Gti. Don't think you can always win, the GTI and I are in the same class, I'll win, she'll win, etc.

For what its worth, the 2.0L in the GTi Golfs is rated at 115hp <P>150hp would be the 1.8T audi/VW engine.

what about VR6 2.8 engine one? i dont think mx can beat that stock it has 200hp

the 2.0 liter 8v has 115 hp, but the 2.0 liter 16v has 150 hp. They are very rare. But you can beat them!!

Another friend has a vw 2.9 liter vr6, but it´s impossible for me to win with an original setup. I´ll need a swap to but his a--.

Last week i rac on the Highway a 2001 Jetta 1.8T 150bhp with sport group(17 rims...)<BR>The race start at about 50 hm/h...i was in 3rd...when we started ...i think he downshift in 2 cause i saw his car move...When we both start accelerate...is 150hp turbo keep my behind im by one car...(i wish i have downshift to ) but anyway...at about 160 km/h...i star reaching him...at 200 i almost pass im ...we were nose to nose...at about 205...i got a couple on inch...then more. I reach 210...he was like 1 car in the back....I push my car to limit at 7500prm about...215...kmh<BR>I think is jetta was electronicly block arroud that speed...
