My freind has this thing called an accelerometer, which somehow calculates 1/4 times and trap speeds. I didn't think it would be very accurate, but he said he tried it on a bunch of cars who also ran at the track, and it's usually only about 0.1-0.2 seconds off from the real E.T.<P>Anyways, I used it on the mx-3 tonight, and my best run was 16.94@83mph w/ another person in the car. Just thought i'd share...

Hey where did u get the accelemometer(not right spelled I guess) from? That'd be a cool thing to have? How do u operate it?<BR> [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

You just plug it in the cigarette lighter and stick it on the dashboard...i have no clue how it works...it just does..lol...it's my freinds, there was some on eBay though...

yep..that's it...he has an older model though<P><BR>I'm gonna try it again once I put in my intake manifold spacers and throttle body spacers...hopefully that'll give me some more low end..this car is slower than i thought

it just divids your acceleration time by the time it takes to get to whatever distance it is you want to travel.. i think..<P> :p heh
