It looks like he plans on fiberglassing the areas that are now brackets and mesh. At least, that's the only reasonable explanation I came up with.

I'm inclined (or declined as the case may be) to suspect that it is a work in progress pic, because if you look at the rear you can see he/she left an opening for the exhaust to go through, there is a muffler tip it's just not making it through. If they were leaving just the mesh, there would be no need to have that opening....on the other hand....the big APC on the hood suggests the owner may dig the look. The hood pins strike me as being in an odd location....at least compared to where I've seen them on other MX3's <p>[ July 31, 2003: Message edited by: Darren Hyderman ]</p>

Thats terrible! Even if he does plan on fiberglassing that hes going to go from a chicken coup to a snow plow in no time at all. That guy is a disgrace to the mx-3 community.
