Image
Image
This is my Corksport front nose after 6 hours of having it installed. This is how fiberglass holds up to a 35 MPH accident into a curb. Some of it maybe fixable, but at this point I am not sure.
[ January 30, 2002: Message edited by: Skiddy ]

Yea, Seeing as I go to school in Erie PA, The friday I went out it was pretty cold and I took the Bayfront, which i should of know better because i knew it would be icy. I went to swerve to avoid an object in the road and lost control, nearly hitting oncoming traffic, but ended up spiining around into a crub. I also had 4 other people in my car, luckily no one was hurt but insurance won't cover me. I got the MS Style nose put on because I hit a deer a few months back on the same side. WHat are the chances of that? Still debating what to do, i have my original bumper for now, but i think the fiberglass is just too hard to fix. I have the midle piece but not all the pieces.

I would go without the nose piece, but the left side is cricked off and i don't have the piece. The nose piece I actually have , I got an estimate from a local guy who fixes fiberglass, and they told me about 8-10 labor plus supplies, and somehow it came out to be 400 plus to paint. It is freaking ridicilous. I am still debating weather to go without the nose piece or not, but i would want the left side fixed. We'll see. I wish i could do it myself.

Ouch! It's sad to see MX-3's looking like that. Hope you get insurance money to pay for that.
