I don't know if completely solid is what you would want though. That would basically eliminate all play in all the components of the rear suspension as they wouldn't be able to move.... I experienced this when I had a set of heim joints adjusted wrong for custom front endlinks. The entire suspension binded up and wasn't compressing properly.... I would assume it'd be the same in the rear

the stock endlinks are basicly solid anyway.

as opposed to the older style of rubber or eurothane bushing style.

BMW uses the same style of end link as our MX-3's.

the problem with those "solid" end links is they werent ment to be exposed to salt, water, and dirt. they are ment for racing, not driving every day for 100,000 KM

let us know how long they last befor they start to seize up or wear or due to dirt.

i dont think that will be a problem as these are anodized and the ball is stainless steel but ill keep you informed

I take back my previous comment, they aren't 100% solid. You've got a 3/8" 24 thread heim joint male/female, not just a steel rod. The ball in those heim joints will allow for about 12 degrees of movement, which will be enough to keep it from binding up. This is exactly what I used as well and works great. There should be no problems with corrosion because mine are stainless as well and have a bronzoil ball to help keep it lubricated and avoid squeeking.
