Lowering MX-3 w/ze

What do people recomend for lowering there car. I am getting 17x7 gram light pro rims. I heard lowering springs will give a better ride but I want to control the height of my ride so also looked at ground control coils. I have tokico blue struts and would like to retain those. I have a '93 GS KLZE
