Has anyone done it yourself?? I have the bolt kit (the one that replaces the existing bolts that hold the strut and the brake assembly) It doesnt seem to be too difficult but a guy i know wants to charge me about $70 an hour to get them all in. He said it could take him about an hour or hour and a half. And plus remember i need to do an alignment again soo thats another $50.
So0o if anyone has any insight on this let me know. THanx guys.
Peace

do this job yourself its soo simple. ok remove front struts and attatch the camber plate to it like you would attatch the strut to the frame.. one bolt correct in the middle? then when the strut and plate are together, just bolt the strut to the frame with the 4 10mm bolts like normal procedure.. $70 an hour? you can do this yourself in two hours or so.

they are just replacement bolts.
jack up your car, take the wheels off and you'll see two bolts attaching your strut to the hub/knuckle assembly. undo the bolts (they are 17mm, you'll need a wrench on each end) and replace them with the new bolts.
And yes, you will need an alignment after removing these bolts

if you pay for a 4 wheel alingment, then they have to adjust everything that they can for the one price. If they charge $50.00 and a tempo comes in then they only have to adjust the toe, if a corvette comes in then they have to set rear toe and camber, front camber, caster and toe, both for the same price, unless they tell you before that it will cost more.
They shouldnt charge more unless the $50.00 is just to set front toe, ask how much a 4 wheel alignment is.
