guessing 87....88 3z

Sorry that I am not responding to your question here but I wanted to know if your mx was really flat black? Any pics?

It's a Nissan T3. I got one off ebay but it didn't include the downpipe which is a b1tch to find since it's not a standared 5 bolt dp flange. It's pretty big with a hot side ar ratio of .63 and .62 cold side. Hope this helps.

it sure is flat black i think it looks good and doesn't draw attention to it i'd post a pic but it shows up on the whole screen...........foxhound i have a ...well i was told it was a t3 off a shadow but its blown would these be this same turbo ???

When you said "3z's" you meant 300zx right? If so then what I have told you is correct. 87-88 z's had the in line six with a single turbo. Water and oil cooled.

from what i know the 300zxs have turbo V-6s

All the shadows use a Mitsubsi TEO4H, as do most allChrystler/Dodge turbo cars & Vans.

But all previuse Z's and ZX's are 2.5L Inline Sixs. I think any model that carried the Datsun name had i6's.
