How to pull off my momo steering hub??

Post by Black Magic »

Today I wanted to replace my wipercontrols, so I pulled the aftermarket steering wheel off, all the covers and than I wanted to pull the steering hub off. But with alot of force (and I do mean alot), it wouldn't even move a bit. What am I doing wrong, please help.

did you try removing the center 21mm nut first?

remove the 21mm nut.... then bolt the wheel back on to the hub and give it a pull.

Oke, thanks, I'll try that. I hope that it'll work out, it must be very stuck because I couldn't pull it out the first time. I'm a pretty strong man, but didn't manage to get it out by trying to pull out the hub alone. But this weekend I'm gona try it again.

Thanks, Bastian

yea cwhat wolfman said should work ok. jsut be careful not to strip the bolts that hold the wheel in. also try prying it off with a breaker bar. or let it soak in wd40 first.
