That's hot man, it looks great. Where did you get a J-spec from, and that's pure Japanese there, right hand drive and everything.

The car was imported directly from a dealer in Japan. It is right hand drive and comes with the Japanese 1.6 DOHC engine which is slightly different to the US version. It also comes with the Japanese 180km speedometer and speed limiter
I believe the JSpec engine comes with 125hp standard as opposed to the 105hp that comes with the US version. You will realize that the intake manifold and engine itself are slightly different.

I believe the 4cl in Japan was a 1.5L.

Hi Barry,
Actually in Japan, the Mazda MX3 came with 3 engine types 1.5L DOHC, 1.6DOHC and 1.8 V6.
We have several MX3 cars with the different engine types here in Barbados.

Hi EBucks,
The roads here in Barbados are not as bad as you might think. Most of them have been repaired and repaved. When is the last time you were here?

I might be even more than 200hp since I am currently running 8-9psi on a stock 125hp motor.
Now that the ACT clutch is installed the car is moving really really nice.
