I have a '92 Mx-3 RS with over 100,000 miles, should my engine be rebuilt before adding any sort of nitrous kit?

It realy depends on how your engine is worn. I put a NOS kit on my '96 which had 140K and ended up burning and chipping a valve. Now this happened due to a combination of failures - not just the nitrous. I had a lifter on the exhaust get stuck which kept the valve from sealing well. In addition, due to the fuel pressure spike one of my vacume hoses blew off and it ran lean.
The result was as I mentioned a fried valve and a couple of brutally melted spark plugs.
The bottom end on my engine is fine however, and I found some serious power gains after puting in new exhaust valves.
Therefore, you can do the rebuild first and know you have an engine in tip top shape before put N2O in it, or you can do as I did and put it in asuming everything is great and find out later...
