Hi, I`m about to install these, and I just wondered where you guys got the power from?

I was thinking of connecting it to the light switch, but I`m not sure if it would get enough power.

Hi nope,
I just connected it to the 12v from the clusterlights, but if youre in doubt if it has enough current in it to support the indiglo's ;)

It's been quite a while since i installed it myself but i think the wire youre looking fór is blue/red "But im not sure at all!" so measure around first to be sure..

Good luck with your new indiglo's

I just did mine two weeks ago. The wire you're looking for is black with a red stripe and you can find it at the back of the illumination dimmer switch. You can also catch it in front of the switch box, but it doesn't carry enough current to light the guages. The relay thing will work, but it's easier to just catch it behind the dimmer.

How about hooking it up to the 12v power going to the cd-player?

Then it won`t turn on before I turn the ignition.

Do you think it`d get enough power that way?

If you hook it up to switch behind your radio, then your gauges would be on the entire time your car was on... day or night. Just catch that red and black wire behind the dimmer. If you get a set of picks, it'll just pop right out.

I wired into the harness behind cluster. The middle plug has a red/black wire (for power) and a black (for ground). Lights come on with light switch. Only thing is the color inverter/dimmer switch that came w/ glo-gauges makes a high-pitched humming sound when I turn lights on. (Can't really here it with radio on)Anyone know what this might be from?? I am going to contact Speedhut about this also. Just wondering what anybody else thinks it might be from...
