haha, 800?? your joking right?? the very minimum most bodyshops will do a complete paint job for is around 3500$ thats minor body work, primed and painted. then add all emblems shaves, rear squirter and wiper shaved, everything taken off(mirrors, bumpers, moldings) whole car sanded perfectly, no flaws whatsoever, ppg paint(best on the market) 8 hours masking flames, 8 coats of ppg clear, and the whole car sanded and polished
(40 hours)all that equals a perfect, flawless paint job, There is'nt a place in this world that could do that for 800$

Are you on crack...if you paid more than 1000 for the paint job...you got robbed. You can go to http://earlscheib.com/ and get a pearl paint job for 600...Your paint job isn't that sweet...flames are kinda weak on imports...The thing that sucks about flames you have to get a whole new paint job if you don't like them...Just go with stickers man. And your in a stock 4 cyl...your really catching on fire at 88 Hp...on top of that Someone has done flames on a mx-3. <p>You GOT robbed

Well, the paint job going on my GS is worth minimum of 7000USD, keep in mind In just paying for supplies because I'll be prepping it and my sponsors painting it, but thats 10X more than I paid for the car. It all depends on the person. Mines going to be a competition show paintjob and thats only cause they want it to be (hey if I can get one for just supplies, wouldnt you? His may be the same, or he has high sentimental value for his car.

Got my paintjob for 1400 CND$ and I had a lot of bodywrok to do, I have evrything molded, they fixed my hood and other ****..I think 8000 is way too much..but that's just my opinion

he said it WOULD have cost 8k... I'm sure most ppl wouldn't drop 8k down, but he didn't have to either. I think the painjob looks decent. Its not my style, but its not my car either. I can't believe everyone if flaming this kid for spending too much money, when we are all on this board b/c we like to spend money on our car. My stereo cost me more than my car is worth, and I'm far from done. Add in lights, TV/in car entertainment, and I could have gotten a better car...... but it would be stock, and that's no fun.
