Headlights

Hey guys do u need to take the Headlights out to pollish them or can u do it on the car? and what is the best cleaner to do it

I also left mine on. The polisher is really for paint, so you don't have to worry about it messing up your paint. I used "Kit Scratch-Off" and it works pretty good. I used it for about an hour, which was probably something like 20 applications, and the lights are about 80% as clear as new lights now. They were quite yellow to start with, so it was a very good improvement.

I also left mine in, but I used Blue Magic -- that stuff works great.

ok so all the grime and yellow discoloring is on the outside of the light

Mine were really yellow, after many winters. I used gas on a rag first just a bit not much at all to remove most of yellow tint. Then I used plastic polish to clean them and now they are almost glass like. Since you ask about the yellow tint I thought I would suggest this. Be careful of your paint and don't use much gas. Make sure there is no more gas on the light when you go to use the polish
