hmmm...the rx7 side mirror looks like it can fit on the mx3 with little or no modification at all. the only problem i see is that the rx7's corner pointing towards the front fender is an acute angle, while on the mx3 its kinda flat. other than that, it should fit perfectly.

im planning to get those carbon fiber side mirrors from griot autobahn that go on your front fenders for the rx-7 and the mx-3. hopefully it doesn't look tacky on the mx cause its a small car.

i came across APR Formula GT3 side mirrors in HCi's december 2006 issue. it's shown on a Honda S2K and a Mazda RX7. I went to their website and there is no application for Mazda MX3 (obviously), but i did wonder if the rx7 fitment is not far off (although its side mirror is connected below the sideshield, not where ours is connected which is on a triangle piece). But APR does have universal side mirrors, where you cut out the mounting (triangle) piece yourself out of a sheet of carbon fiber and drill the holes.. i don't know how the electronics would go on these aftermarket side mirrors though. can u just connect the harnesses and be able to tilt the mirror-glass with our auto-control?

These look really nice. Carbon Fiber side mirrors. anyone else care to figure this out for our car?

I don't think the APR mirrors are electric. You have to adjust the mirror with your hand.
