i am redoing my stock interior with black and yellow vinyl because of wear and tear of stupid previous owners. i am basically doing everything that mazdamaniac at www.mazdamaniac.com did to his, but with yellow instead of blue. the seats are going great, almost done now, but i am having an awful time getting the yellow vinyl to stick to the panels where i took the grey cloth out. any suggestions? i will post pics when i get it done.
Dan

its a lot easier to rip off the stock fabric on the door panel...then just paint the vinyl covering ALREADY on the door panel under the stock fabric to yellow...unless youre putting in a certain yellow fabric on that. its what i did and it works great and after 4 months, havent been chipped or cracked and feels just like vinyl.

pep boys sells nice flexible paint that works well with car interiors. krylon or krylon satin....watch out for white though...for some reason it tends to crack in the sun...but ive had no problem with black. check out my site at http://www.geocities.com/driftingboogie/ and click on project mx3.
