Not hard at all bro, You just unscrew the originals (2 screws holding them in) and thats it.

Yeah , , I know that part is simple, I am talking about when the hole unit is out, seperating the lens from the housing, I guess you have to heat it up and then just pull it off.

the clean ones from corksport come w/a housing. you just unscrew what you got and pop the bulb into the new housing.

guys, he's not buying the lenses with the housing! from what has been said in earlier posts, all you need to do is heat up the old lens and CAREFULLY pry it off. then pop the clear one on! you sound like you're ready to switch em.<BR>-Marc

I believe the topic here says turn signal lenses, which from corksport do come with or without a housing. Heating them and carefully prying should do the trick

I took my orange turn signal lenses off. All I gotta say is, it's not that easy. Yea yea, everyone says you just heat it up and it pops right out, yadda yadda yadda. It's not that easy!

<P>I used a heat gun to heat up the housing, and that grey gunk that's holding the lense in the housing is sooo thick, and it cools pretty fast. You're supposed to stick a screwdriver or something into it and slowly pry out the lense. The lense is pretty deep into the housing. I ended up warping the edges of my housing a bit, and I broke the holes where the lens tabs used to fit in. <P>Think of it like pulling out wisdom teeth. <shudder>.
