What exhaust setups are you guys running? I have a stock K8 engine but I plan on upgrading to a ZE in the future, so I need something that will work well later on. Any suggestions?

the stock exhaust is 1.8" IFAIR with a cat, resonator, and muffler.
I just put a high performance muffler on mine as I am keeping my K8, but if you are going to a KL most people go to 2.5" piping, performance muffler, larger headers, and a high-flow 2.5" cat and remove the resonator. (if they do the whole deal). Some people just remove the resonator and put in 2.5" to the muffler, and put in a performance muffler.

that is up for discussion. A lot of people say that 2.5 is too much and 2.25 is all you really need. 2.5 is if you go turbo, other wise 2.25 is more than enough. That, headers and a high-flow cat is all you need.
The words performance muffler always makes me laugh... all I can imagine is a fart can is and its not really necessary... just get a magnaflow 2.25" muffler to go with your 2.25" catback.
EDIT: Im not saying thats What you said RoundTop, I just mean I find the words performance exhaust to be used in all the wrong ways in my area. Too many 1990 Civics with fart cans that try and race anything and everything that moves. Its sickening.

I ran stock cat back, muffler, etc. with no cat and it powered me to low 14's and over 100 mph traps with a bad launch and like 6000' elevation. I knew it could be done.
Now ive got 2.5" turboback, no cat, and a thrush cheapie turbo chamber muffler. I really like the performance gains
I say also dont waste money on a mandral system. If you got a lot of tight bends and such like a turbo kit, never use crush bends. But as far as a cat back exhaust, leave that work to the pros...
The work is cheaper than you may think as well.
