Hey guys i got a wierd thinging going on. when i hit 5th gear i hit like 120 it stops only at 6k it doesnt red line is that normel with a stock GS?

Wrong. It should go to at leat 130 MPH. Possibly 135 MPH if he's got a tail wind.

It takes about 150hp to break the 130mph mark with an MX-3.

I have hit just a smidge over 125 in my stock gs with just a CAI and rims on my car. Cant remember what the rpm's were reading.

You right in the ball park @ 125. Even a small 2% error in the speedo at that speed can mean as much seeing plus or minus 2mph. It's safe to say the top speed will be in the 120's. Depends on speedo error, width/diameter of tires, any head or tail winds.

OK. Well mine personally has been a smidge over 130MPH on the reading and I chickened out going any faster.

I worried about that kind of stuff until I went to germany for a few weeks. It seemed to me most people were doing ~120mph/200kph on the autobahn. I didn't hear any stories of things breaking etc. Most cars are built stronger than what we think and 100mph+ isn't really that big a deal.

i would rather go 55
