i got my mx-3 in april and i drove it for like 2 months and then it broke down...the local garqages couldnt figure out what was wrogn so it was brought to a dealership....i think they are ****ing me... it took them like 2 weeks just to tell me what was wrong. first it was the fuel distibutor and some other little th8ings and then they did that and the bill was 900$.....a week later we called again and they said the car needs a new cam cuz it isnt running good at all.....so now the bill is 2000$......im soo pissed and i cant afford it...the car is only worth 3000$ what should i do

do a motor swap...problem solved

MX-3s don't have fuel distributors. If they really told you that, I think they're taking you for a ride.<p>And if they told you it need a new cam, did they say which one? After all, it has four.

I'd get a second opinion. I go to a Honda/Mazda specialist shop in Santa Cruz for my MX-3. My old shop my family goes to just wasn't familiar with it. Theyve been great, and dealerships, they just cost too much for so little.
