OK..
My fiance went out of town and I did a tune up on her GS K8. Plugs, wires, removed oil from plug holes, new air filter, cleaned the throttle body, etc..

She said she had horrible loss of power which is why I did the tune-up - obviously the dealership wouldn't have done these when they had the car 2 months ago for the 82K work job and a tune-up right?!? A$$HOLES!!

Anyway.. I took it out for a test drive(if she finds out I'm a dead man) and wouldn't ya know it, the engine cut out on the highway. It would run for 100 feet and shut strait down(kinda like the engine was about to sieze) 3 miles of this and I'm back at her place. I've done the research and it's probably the distributor. Ideas on how to test it to be sure?

AND WHY IS THE MAZDAMANIAC SITE DOWN IN MY TIME OF CRISIS!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!! :crying:

Can anyone give me the MSD upgrade "manual" that was on Jeff's site?

Thanks!
