Hi! I just recently purchased a fuel filter for my 93 mx3 gs v6 1.8L. I need to know specifically where the old one is so I can put it. Also if I need to install it from the bottom.

Its located near your firewall, bolted onto your transmission. U'll have to remove ur airbox to get to it. Remember to undo ur gas cap, so u dont squirt gas everywhere

airbox isn't in the way much..the battery is. If you remove the battery, it'll be staring you in the face.
BTW: its a pain in the arse to remove, so have fun!

Follow these directions.
Remove gas cap.
Remove air box and air hoses.
Remove battery and battery tray.
look at the tranny, you should see a black canister w/ hoses attached, thats your filter. I think the bolt is 10mm, remove it careful not to drop it. Now the reson i said to remove all that is cuz if the rear hose is stuck you saved your self alot of frustration and cuts on your hands, pull it out a little, grip the hose w/ plires, twist untill hose move freely, then pull off.
Just follow the directions in revers to put it back on!
Latter.
