I've jsut got my car rerereswapped, but this time it's with a j-spec curved neck intake, and when we start the engine, it revs right to 5000rpm and stick there. Does anybody knows what's the problem?

I know its rather obvious, but its not the throttle linkage, is it?

no it's not. I'm actually getting my swap done by my local Mazda dealer and nobody's looks like knowing the problem!

For your info, it was a broken TB valve pin that wasn't allowing the valve to close tight.

I had another TB but it was coming from a long neck klze intake, while this was a curved neck, so it didn't fit eather. So we swaped the broken pin from the two TB and now it's working fine
