Hi,
I have just found out the main bearings on my KLZE have gone!! I purcahsed it through Street Imports a little over a year ago, who I have nothing against, it is very possible they just received a bad engine. I know I didn't do it, I babied it. I guess my question is, I have no choice but to do another engine swap, whats a reputable company that people have used? Has anyone ever heard of J-Spec Autos from Montreal? They're selling one on eBay. ANy help as soon as possible is appreciated . **sigh** :(

Sorry to hear of your engine problems!
You may want to try Engine Land in Montreal. I drove there from Baltimore to get mine. :-) I assume they're still getting shipments of KL-ZE engines.
I have their contact info at home (I'm at work right now) if you're interested...
[ September 06, 2003: Message edited by: 2.5mx3 ]

if its just a knocking noise, then you can just change the bearings, they dont cost too much, ask your mechanic to get you a price, you might be able to just drop the oil pan and change the bearings.
Hey it works on M3's .

the mechanic, who ive known for a while and therefore trust, said the only way , sadly, would be to get an engine swap done.
