This may be of shock to some, but KL motors may like K8 heads for performace reasons. So in any case I'm looking into some K8 heads. First for info. Need to get the size of the combustion chamber to know for sure. Anyone have this info. or a set of heads they could CC quickly(meaning weeks) and desire to do it?
I could talk someone through CC'ing an chamber if needed, but hoping someone's got the info. handy.

No Shiat...I was just thinking this same thing. I'm about to do a K8 to KL swap hopefully next week. I was looking at the KL heads and wondering if the compression would be better with the K8 heads. I'll be pulling mine off once I get the motor out...I'll cc them then.
Any words of wisdom cc'ing a head? I just had this idea pop into my head so I haven't done jack in the way of research...any idea what the valve sizes are from the KL to K8?

No jokes!<p>the k8's valves are so small in diameter. As for the volume, I have onne k8 down. I'm going to fill the combustion chamber with water then mesure the liquid's volume. I'll post here after.<p>This is the method I used to port my ZE's head. This way I got sure that the each port had the same volume. The flow bench gave me reason though...

mazdasly75, let's see some pics of your car. From your sig it sounds like you have one bad A$$ car. What kind of times do you get? Sorry this is off topic, but i just had to ask.
