I had some major problems with idle and loss of power. Just replaced the distributor assembly, wiring, crank angle sensor.
Was told my clutch was failing (but I'm waiting to repair that).
I've noticed that there is a slight delay in response when I step on accelerator. This occurs even when I'm already in gear, so I don't think it's a clutch problem. Anybody out there know what might be happening?
(1994 MX3-V6)

Whats weird is that I'm experiancing the same thing. It'll lag, or sometimes I'll be accelerating at partial throttle and I can feel the power drop. Wide open throttle doesn't change anything.
I'm going to change my plugs with some NGK's, any suggestions? I want to change my wires soon too, we'll see. Could be humidity or something with rain lately. who knows...

Check all hoses. I had a similar problem. The Y pipe connecting my air box to my TB was cracked so air was bypassing the VAF sensor. It's worth looking at.

Just to help ya out a bit, if your clutch is bad when you hit the gas ur engine will rev but ur car wont go as fast as it should..hope that makes sense but i cant think of any other way of explaining..oh and this can happen even when u are in gear too....i had that problem on my RS, the clutch was almost 100 percent gone...i could be cruisin along and mash the gas and the engine would rev way out but the car wouldnt go any faster..

forgot about this post,,,,
MX3MAN, I don't think it was the clutch as the engine was losing power as well. (Still haven't fixed the clutch in over a year, I don't drive the car that much to worry about it)
