I'm buying my KLZE first week in Jan. I plan to have Crower make me forged pistons, rings, and rods, have the crankshaft rebalanced i want to keep the 10:1 CR but be able to handle alot of boost. i need to get some wrk done to the heads, replace all the gaskets and seals, and then Toss on a turbo. one of my concerns is wether the block will be able to handle this or will i ned to get it reinforced. anoter is atwn turbo setup. how exactly TT works im a little confused?
please help and give me your opinions

Buy a 95-97 Millenia engine from a salvage yard and do the same stuff to it. It'll be cheaper in the long run. It would not be cost effective to buy a ZE and then replace half the parts you buy a ZE for.
The block will be fine, it's very strong.
Toss on a turbo? It ain't dat easy. Currently there is not a reputable supplier of turbo "kits" for our cars, although there reportedly is one in the works. I hope you have a lot of loose coin rolling around.
A twin turbo on a V type motor has each bank of cylinders exhausting to individual turbos. TT setups often have twin intercoolers as well. They have twice as much stuff and cost at least twice as much. No, no one makes a TT kit (no one that you should send money to anyways) so you'll have to do your own research, designing, and fabricating! Good luck!
Oh, by the way, please search next time. Trust me on this, you are not the first to ask these questions. Thank you for your support.

if your going with turbos just get a big turbo t3/t4 should do it, that should be enough boost for you

aspec does those swaps a lot, why not keep your rs motor and turbo that and just switch your drivetrain, it will probably cost you the same amount of money

well when you swap the bpt in i would suggest getting the pro lx tranny and then just go to a protege site and look for a lsd. i know theyre out there but as i dont have the extra money for one i havent looked. but i do know that they exist.

Just throw a turbo on a stock klze. it can handle 4-5 psi safely and you can get 100hp from it. then later on or if you have the money now reenforce the internals.

4-5psi safely all the time, i know of people who have done it for a while and have had no problems. and if your worried about it get a boost controller and run it at 1 psi for every day driving and when you wanna go crank it. i'm going with a thomas knight kit, i know this isn't popular on the board for some reason. but ya its not really a kit just hte exhaust manifold and garrett turbo, but thats all i was expecting so.
