What other tranny will fit in 92 GS v6?

My girlfriend has a 92 GS v6 and the automatic tranny is starting to slip on it, I was just wondering if there were any other interchangeable transmissions from other makes or mazdas. Thanks in advance

mazda 626, ford probe, mazda mx-6. Try to match the year of the tranny to the year of her vehicle

Thanks but does the Tranny have to be a v6 tranny? or does that even matter? Thanks again<p>Would it have to be the v6 tranny off the other vehicles (i.e, v6 probe, 626, etc) in order for it to work? Thanks again

Yes it needs to be the v6 model. The 4cyl models have a different bell housing. Also if you opt for one of these transmissions your tranny computer will have to change
