Okay, I'm looking to install an ODB2 ECU in my 94 GS. Not for performance, just diagnostics. Anyone, know of any issues with this? So far all I see is some minor differences in tuning. The harness is different but nothing that can't be re-wired.
Anyone ever try this before? Know someone who has? Any info would be helpful.
Thanks,
Dylan

your gonna have a lot of problems.
OBDII has special sensors to measure stuff like fuel tank pressure, and after converter performance, just to name a few. Its all about stopping extea polutants form getting into the air.
You would have to get ALL the extra sensors from a 96+ car then wire them in and make sure they all work properly or your gonna be setting a bunch of codes, like, EVAP leak, HO2S#3 inactive, P0300 Mis-fire detected.
just so you know.
