well my cluch line blew just a suggestion but maybe some of you guys should replace them <P>whit I did is took mine off and got a guy at work to "braze" my ends on to a steel braded line

hey i probly cheaper then you, i do everything i can for free, but you know you can buy steel braided cluch lines for our car, right?

This is where I bought all my stailess steel clutch line. <A HREF="http://www.bakerprecision.com/earls.htm" TARGET=_blank>http://www.bakerprecision.com/earls.htm</A> <P>click on pre-assembled choose the 12" one, part # 63010112 you only need 1<BR>go back then click on brake adapter fittings, scroll past caliper adapter to tubing adapters The part you want is part # 989545 and you need 2 of these. when you get them, they all fit nicely in stock positions and for about $13 + shipping.

Earl's line fits with no problems.

stas,<P>I did the clutch the brake lines as well but I bought the goodrige kit for the brake lines from corksport. I also upgraded to dot4 fluid, the earls parts fit perfectly for me. I just thought it was easier to do the whole lot at once. for the brakes I replaced all calipers and pads and used speedbleeders on them for easy bleeding of the brake system. Yeah I did all my work in my driveway with no problems, you just need jack stands and stuff to do it.<BR>Let me know if you need more info or help

Yeah stas,<BR>Big difference in braking. Clutch was totally better. Replaced the rear rotors with slotted ones. Brakes are excellent and I do recommend the steel brake lines. I personally noticed a big difference in braking but there may have been other issues that were corrected when I did the install of everything. anyone know where you can get a braided clutch line in CANADA (without ordering from the US)...?

I removed the brackets and noted there was a plate to add thickness to the bracket. This plate was just spot welded on so I chiseled off easily. The clips went on snugly with the new line without a lot of cussing and fussing trying to force the clip on.
