valve cover oil leak.

wife got car back from dealer and was told that the valve cover gaskets need replacing. this is a v6 and the forward bolts holding valve cover in place are leaking oil around heads. Is this something I can do? Looks like there should be a rubber o-ring under the head of these bolts?

yes, but to do the rear you have to pull off the intake manifold, you can get the gaskets off of <A HREF="

http://www.mx-3.com" TARGET=_blank>www.mx-3.com</A> under the k8 engine, the torque specs are in inchpounds not footpounds

if you have all the necessary tools and some experience you should be able to do it.<BR>took me around 3hrs
