ok man you really havent thought about this at all have ya (not sounding like a smart a$$) in the swapping to a rotary you have to do engine for one now there are 2 ways you can do this A mod the mx3 to do rear wheel drive (LOTS OF MONEY) or B the Rotary engine CAN be turned sideways and work for Front wheel (but your gonna not get as much hp and torque on the ground as you would rear) 2nd tranny the transmissions on Rx7s are completely diffrent then transmissions on other mazda cars think of it this way pritty much everything on the rx7 is controled by the ECU the Turbos the Tranny the Engine and as for exhaust Yep that 2 its Alot of work and would be in short Simply amazing But its alot of money cause with it comes alot of custom work and head aches and if you had all the parts you needed your still looking at a 7k to 10k on installation cause really i think the only guy that would be smart enough on here (no offence to anyone) would be Dave Coleman. But hey if you got 25k to spin go for it, its never been done to a Street Legal car
for your hp questions there were 2 versions of the 13b engine the 1st 13b was seen in the 2nd gen which is an awsome engine but only used if any a single turbo, and the 2nd version ( a much better engine i would say but those who would argue) you can order either engine from corksport just have to clarify which engine you want or but any you have about 200 hp on the 13b 2nd gen and i believe 280 on the 13b 3rd gen in either case you could go with a bpt and upgrade your turbos and do a lil work on the engine and have more hp than doing a rotary. Not trying to discourage you just pointing out what all will have to be done, and i didnt even mention everything.
