the car was in a crap garage for 11 weeks we had to get legal help the problem originally was the car cut out when revved as if you turned off engine. they changed distributer & cap plugs,leads &rotor arm then they just wouldnt give the car back [long story] we got it today and its drivable but misfiring any ideas we dont want to take it to any other garage without some idea .its our first mx3 [1992]

check your spark plugs, mine was misfiring cuz the plugs were too old.

we got car sorted in less than 20 minutes we took the new distributor to pieces and sure enough the mechanic missed out a small spacer we put it in and it is going better than ever

it always ends up like that, just the smallest dumb s--- can make things look like big problems. happy cruisin
