I'm thinking strongly of getting my KL-ZE from <A HREF="http://www.streetimports.com" TARGET=_blank>www.streetimports.com</A> because I heard alot of good things about them from people on this board.<P>I was just wondering where I can get an ecu for the KL-ZE (since I don't think they come with engine).<P>Thanks for the help

i havent bought an ECU yet but i did find a website that has them, <A HREF="http://www.elprototypes.com/catalog-ecu.htm" TARGET=_blank>http://www.elprototypes.com/catalog-ecu.htm</A> <BR>this is the only i know that sells them. if your going to get a KL-ZE engine i would recommend going to suns used mazda engines at <A HREF="http://members.tripod.com/~Asian_E/index-5.html" TARGET=_blank>http://members.tripod.com/~Asian_E/index-5.html</A> they have the cheapest price that i know of. good luck with the swap.

I am using a PGT ECU and don't have any problems. Might want to look into that also.

E.L. prototypes dosn't sell KL-ZE ECU's.<P>They re-programme your ECU to KL-ZE specs.<P>I had mine done and there is almost no drop in power when the VIRS changes. Most probes with the stock ECU and a KL-ZE complain because the VIRS points arnt set up right for the ZE and they lose about 15 H.P. at certian RPM's.

Streetimports can also sell you a ZE ECU. Just ask.

does any one know the number or website for E.L.Prototypes, cuz i need a good high performance ecu for klze.

Is there a better ECU out there for the KL-ZE (like a performance after-market one)???
