Re: Do larger wheels affect performance?
they affect it a VERY small amount. I read an article in super street where they put on larger wheels and lost .1-.2 in the quarter mile depending on the weight of the wheels. Ive noticed some loss of braking power with larger rims and switched to slotted rotors.

Re: Do larger wheels affect performance?
yeah, it's not so much size as it is weight.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

Re: Do larger wheels affect performance?
17's with 40 series will be the same size as the 14's with 65 series, but i guess u could say weight may make some difference if any, but IMO and from what i hear u won't see a difference. However with 18's u will feel a bit of loss.
