It's the valve cover gaskets. You will have to remove the intake manifold to get to the rear valve cover.

I've been going a while with the problem. just clean out the oil every month or so and keep the oil level correct. I'm planning on doing the fix this summer. You have to remove the intake to get to the back cover.

I have the same problem, and im just wondering if its serious or not..<BR>i've left my car like this for year.. so far nothing horrible has happened, except that annoying knocking sound on cold starts.. would that be related to oil in the spark plug wells?

No its not that serious. You may just have to change plugs a little sooner that usuall.
