Re: jerking 30x
You have a tear in your intake hose. It needs to be replaced. When you take off, the engine torques backwards and it stretches the hose, opening the tear. When the engine stalls from the leak, the engine leans back forward and seals the tear (partially, anyway). When the tear is partially sealed back up, the engine torques backwards again (except this time your foot is probably deeper in the loud pedal) and the tear opens even wider. The process repeats until your VAF is no longer controlling the fuel mixture as it does right off idle and the thing runs fine. Mine did the same thing after a clutch replacement. As a matter of fact, I still need the air intake hose. Anyone have noe they'll sell to me cheap for a 1.8? Thx!
Jason

I'd have to disagree. I really don't think the intake hosing is the only cause for the jerking. I have a 92 Mazda MX-3 GS with an auto transmission, and everytime it kicks into 2nd or 3rd it jerks like a mother fucker. I know it's not my intake because i just replaced my original intake with a racing intake with hopes of solving the problem but it did nothing for me, i still have this problem so if anyone has an idea on how to fix it please let us know!
Thanks
