"NOS" is a brand name for a company called Nitrous Oxide Systems. It won't make a flame come out of your exhaust. It shouldn't affect the life of your engine if you get it installed right and don't abuse it. I'd recommend upgrading your clutch though...i'd say it's well worth the money<P>Zex makes a nice. safe, easy to use kit, it's what I have in my Eclipse...

why there is still people refering to NOS as the actually nitro perfomance part you can add to a car. Some of you out there (the genious) should post something about it.And aws your question and this guy just said it will affect the live of your engine depending on the abuse you put her through. it will be worth!!
