Seatbelt track

My driver side shoulder belt sticks in it's track half the time in the locked in position when i get out of the car. Sometime it works sometimes it doesn't, fortunately it hasn't stuck in the open position yet. Is this just a problem of the track needing lubrication? If so, what should I use. Or is it something more. I was just looking for some other opinions, hoping to find an inexpensive fix, before heading to the dealer.

This was part of a recall several years ago. The track wears out to the point that the cable inside won't move. The dealer "should" replace it for free - as part of the recall. Good luck!
