Don't get the pacesetter unless you have to. If your tight for cash go ahead...but if you got it I would suggest one from Brullen Exhaust or someplace...the price is high though. I love the pacesetter. It was easy to install... all you had to do was bend the arms at the mullfer a little... I also love the sound, it's quiet and i think it sounds very tuned.

I had to bend the muffler hangers, hangers behind the resonator A LOT! I also had to remove the heat sheild for the gas tank since the exhaust was hitting that also. I had to bend the piping a bit to keep it from hitting the rear lower control arm. Probably took 4-5 hours to get it to fit and even then it doesn't fit well. I'm not slow to work on things either. I did my KLZE swap completely by myself in a day and a half.

I think the sound is just god awful. SOunds very, very ricey.

Like someone else said if it's a money issue then get the pacesetter. If you have the cash for something better then get that, you'll be much happier in the end.

I'm really wondering if there are two different modles or something. How long ago did you get yours? The sound is definitly not ricy, it's very quiet... Hmmm I just got the standard 4" tip and resonator

I bought it last summer. I cut the tip off of mine and put a 2 1/2" slant cut tip from autozone on it. The original resonated tip helps a little with the low end noise but didn't effect the buzzy top end. It was just to damn big for my tastes.

mine rusted out after 4 months of winter driving & sounded like raspy hell. Worst exhaust evAr!
