does anyone know how many cubic feet are available in the hatch area of an MX-3 with all the seats in their original place?

i mean from the top of the seats, to the floor, and from the narrowest points on the drivers and passenger sides

ive got a big boomin stereo system planned for my upcoming mx-3 :cool:

if you are leaving your panels on and you aren't going to fiberglass you can probably get like 4.5 cubes after displacements. (that's a straight square box). If you get intricate you can get quite a bit more.

You can use Polyfill to trick the sub into thinking it has more space to work with....

if u build a box that is a square u can get around 5 like this one... (my box that i still have that i would sell)
<img src="http://www.firststatebmx.com/other/IMG0138.JPG" alt=" - " />
<img src="http://www.firststatebmx.com/other/IMG0139.JPG" alt=" - " />
<img src="http://www.firststatebmx.com/other/IMG0141.JPG" alt=" - " />
<img src="http://www.firststatebmx.com/other/IMG143.JPG" alt=" - " />

if u built it so it was angled like the back of the seat u could get as much as 5.7.
