So you think the Rampage deck rca output isn't working. Couple ways of checking. If your amp comes on, get a cd diskman and get an adapter fromit to rca's, that's one way of testing your rca's. Or, you can hook-up your amp through high input speaker wires.

Yeah, you can connect your remote wire to any ignition on/off power wire. All you need is a wire tester.

If you think it's just the remote turn on wire, you can take a small piece of wire and short it from the 12V+ terminal of the amp to the remote turn on of the amp. That will supply a 12V+ to the amp turn on, which is what it needs to activate. That'll at least tell you if it's the remote turn on.<p>But if the amp's light is going on, that uaully indicates that the amp is already being turned on.

look in the fuse box by the hood release. there is a fuse marked "radio". you can tap that for your remote wire

So your saying that the amp is staying on regardless of your remote. If that's the case, I believe you have a bad ground. Check that, and maybe it will solve your problem.
