I've heard most people recommend the Optima Yellow Top battries for car's running powerful systems. Now, i saw that there are Blue Top Optimas. How, my Mx-3 being Tropical Emeral Metallic, or Aqua if you will, i would like to use the Blue Top to match my car, but does it offer the same "performance" as the yellow top?

Blue tops are marine batteries. They can be run down to nothing over and over w/ out taking any real damage. They aren't used for comps because of cost I think. I'd recommend just getting a yellow top.

blue tops have two aditional threaded top posts for hooking up trolling motors hence marine battery. The yellow top is also a deep cycle battery and I would highly recomend the yellow top especially if you have dimming probs from your system
