Hi I have a 92 MX-3 GS
In the compartment where the stereo should be (mines missing), I have a box labled Mazda 4072
Which has 2 conectors 1 has 8 wires (4 white's & 4 Blue's) in Blue/White pairs, the other 5 wires of different colours.
Wondering what It's for?. One of the Blue/White Pairs goes to a connector but is not pluged in to anything. Can't find reference in the on-line manual.
Any info appreciated.
Thanks,
pjh

check to see if you have speakers in the doors.
if the connectors that should go to the radio plug into that empty box and you dont have speakers, then your car was probably orderd with a radio delete.
this is a silent option on most cars, you get a discount when you order the car new if you ask them not to install a stereo system.
